Fairies: Miniature, winged beings from the Enchanted Kingdom. These mischievous beings often befriend children, and delight in performing pranks like hiding keys. They are able to fly and perform magickal feats with their Fairy Dust.
For more information see: Enchanted Kingdom.

The Halliwells see a Fairy

Fairy Dust: Magickal dust wielded by fairies. This dust is capable of restoring ones sense of innocence, making them child like in mind, once again.
Fairy dust is also capable of restoring a miniaturized human to their proper size again, and may have other magickal uses and properties.

Familiars: Animals that have a close relationship to a Witch. A familiar can be any kind of animal, but it is common for cats to be familiars. The Halliwell familiar is Kit.
Familiars are usually benevolent beings but should one betray his Witch they will become a Warlock, killing their owner and gaining their magickal abilities.
A potion is needed to make a familiar into a Warlock, but what this potion specifically does, and its ingredients, is unknown.
After becoming a Warlock a familiar must shed all of its animal lives before the next full moon. For example a cat Warlock would need to be killed nine times before it would be reborn permanently as an immortal Warlock. If a familiar fails they return to their animal state for eternity.

Famine: See: Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse, The.

Ferrywoman of Hell: A spirit that ferries the souls of the dead to Hell. She is especially fond of the souls of Witches, as they are “prized”. This spirit seemed to possess the ability to kill at will, murdering an Alcatraz tour guide with the flick of her wrist, and the power to teleport and sense the approach of Witches.
The Ferrywoman is not visible to normal people but Witches can sometimes see her. She appears as a human looking woman, dressed in a large robe, and floats above the ground barefoot.

Fighting: See: Adjusting.

Find Your Muse, To: Created by The Charmed Ones to magickally move themselves to the side of their Muse, Melody, teleporting them to her location even though she was trapped within the Ring Of Inspiration.

Being of creativity,
We call ourselves now to thee,
Your light now darkened in a ring,
Shall feel the Power Of Three we bring

Finn: A golem created in the image of the demon Gamill to lure victims to his house. Though Finn looked and acted like a grown man he had the obedience and naiveté of a small child.
After Finn began questioning Gamill’s actions Paige Matthews was able to convince him to assist The Charmed Ones; an act that resulted in his destruction at Gamill’s hands via an energy beam from his wand.

Fireball: The ability to cast balls of fire from the hands. Several magical beings have possessed this ability: Eames, demonic Judge “Free Willy” Hamilton, and Tom Peters.

Firestarters: Rare and coveted magickal beings with the gift of pyrokinesis. If captured by demons a Firestarter’s magick would be offered to The Source to drain and increase his own pyrokinetic abilities.
A Firestarter’s ability usually manifests in adolescence and at first can be difficult to control.

Flame Trap: Set by the demon Sykes in a mausoleum, this trap was capable of discharging a blast of deadly flame upon sensing any motion.

Flameballs: Far deadlier than a fireball, these balls of rotating flame and energy are The Source’s preferred method of attack. Flameballs can be cast from the hand, similar to an energy ball or fireball, but also obey The Source’s mental commands, hovering in the air or changing direction as he chooses.

Flamethrowing: Projection of jets of flame from the hands. Flamethrowing is a deadly power, capable of completely immolating even high-level demons. Phoebe Halliwell possessed flamethrowing both in her past life as the Witch P Russell and while pregnant with demonic child in her present life.

Flaming: Bursts of supernatural flame accompany each use of this teleportation ability giving it its name. Flaming can be used to move oneself, as well as other beings and objects, through space as well as across dimensions.
Flaming ability was exclusive to The Source and his demonic offspring, manifest through Phoebe Halliwell.

Flight: The ability to fly. The line of Dragon Warlocks all possessed this ability, with the power possibly passed from generation to generation upon death. Phoebe Halliwell also possessed stolen flight ability for a short time. With this ability individuals could defy gravity and fly at great speeds.

Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse, The: Death, Famine, Strife and War; Demons charged with the destruction of the world. Each Horseman has his own, violent, specialty but all share the abilities to teleport, make their magickal steeds appear at will, and immunity to Witches powers.
In the hierarchy of supernatural evil the Horsemen are a breed above demons; ferocious, and impossible to vanquish. Only The Source is able to destroy them. Each time a group of Horsemen fail to bring about the Apocalypse they are killed, and four more anointed.

Frankie And Lulu: Criminal partners and lovers, they robbed a series of jewellery stores in the 50’s, killing three people before being gunned down. As ghosts they were able to escape Clyde’s watchful eye to temporarily possess Phoebe Halliwell and Cole Turner in an attempt to complete one last job: getting married.
Piper Halliwell and Darryl Morris were able to force them to flee their possessed hosts, allowing Clyde to return them to the ethereal void.

Freezing: The power to stop the movement of particles within molecules and energy, freezing them in place. For more information on this see: Particle Manipulation.

Furies: Ferocious demons who take their name from the Furies of myth. Like their namesakes Furies are only female and their goal is to punish evildoers, but they possess no restraint and less discretion, making them very dangerous. A Fury will attack any who have committed a crime with equal zeal; from petty thieves, to hardened mortal murderers and demons.
Furies possess great strength, deadly clawed talons, and the ability to smoke from place to place, but their most dangerous powers lay in the supernatural smoke they are able to exhale. This smoke can have two very different effects: when blown into the mouth of an evildoer it causes the victim to combust from within, exploding into flames; but when blown into the mouth of virtuous beings it searches for a portal of unexpressed rage, inflaming this rage until it consumes their humanity, transforming them into a Fury.
Transformation takes several hours. During this time anger grows, as does strength, with nails becoming claws. Soon a nascent Fury develops the power to smoke and to teleport, feeling a call to seek out their brethren, yearning for their first kill.
The only way to prevent a transformation is to resolve the unspoken anger that triggered it in the first place. Once done this completely reverses the transformation, but will only be successful before the first kill has taken place. Once the first kill is committed three clawed talons replace hands and the transformation into a Fury becomes complete and permanent.
Furies also possess an unusual psychic ability capable of incapacitating their prey. When they focus their thoughts upon a being they are able force them to hear the cries of all of their former victims.
Energy balls are capable of vanquishing a Fury, but they are immune to the abilities of Witches. Piper Halliwell’s particle manipulation ability held no sway over them, and there was no magickal way of destroying them in the Book Of Shadows.
